Network Computing
Are you good with computers? Eager to try out the latest
hardware and software? Doing your part to create a "wired world?" If you
answered "yes" to any of these questions, then a Network Computing degree is
right up your alley.
NMU's Network Computing major is designed to offer
students an education in Internet and Intranet programming. This course of
study emphasizes programming skills while concentrating on the latest
concepts, architectures, and algorithms for network computation. Students
will lear the fundamentals of Computer Science while focusing on aspects
most important to the world of network computing. Graduates should be well
prepared to design the next generation of network applications.
Starting salaries are contingent upon geographic location
and individual work experience, and usually range from $33,000 to $40,000.
