MAED535 PROBLEM SOLVING AND RECREATIONAL MATHEMATICS (2 Cr.)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Problem-solving activities that model desired instructional strategies while examining mathematical content through topics such as magic squares, tangrams, polyominoes, palindromes, number patterns, geometric dissections, tessellations, spirolaterals, etc.  Allows students to experience a hands-on approach to learning new content that can also be incorporated into K-12 lessons.
