CS120 COMPUTER SCIENCE I (4 Cr.)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Satisfies the formal communication studies requirement.
Prerequisite:
MA 100 or equivalent or permission of
instructor.
General Introduction and Goals
An introductory course in computer science. This is a first
course in computer programming. Topics include methods and parameters,
conditionals, loops, arrays, graphical user interfaces, and object-oriented
program design.
Students with some programming experience are encouraged to take
CS120A.
